HEADSHOTS
Headshots should go beyond meeting a work requirement! It’s about feeling good about how you’re being represented - especially with how frequently we’re represented online. You deserve to have headshots that you’re proud of, that feels like you.
I know stepping in front of a camera can feel uncomfortable and vulnerable. Just about everyone feels this way! I put heaps of effort into making these sessions engaging and enjoyable. When you feel good, you look good. My job is to help. From wardrobe, to posing, to playing your favorite music and bringing some good energy into the room.

What’s next?
Here an overview of the process
Send me an email or fill out my “book now” form and we’ll set up a call to talk through the details.
We’ll pick a location, date and I’ll get to hear a bit more about what you’re looking for.
To reserve the shoot I’ll need a 50% deposit. I accept most payment methods. If the weather prevents us from shooting we’ll reschedule, free of charge.
For headshots sometimes you need to match a company headshot, or maybe you’re looking to replicate a certain style. I would love to see examples of what images you’re drawn to so I can style and direct appropriately.
On the day of the shoot I’ll help with posing and direction, giving you enough time to feel good in front of the camera. Depending on the length of your shoot, we’ll try different outfits and explore multiple backgrounds.
I edit the full gallery, minus the bad ones! I edit creatively and remove blemishes but you’ll also get a chance to ask for any changes you might like.
You’ll receive all of the images through Google Drive in two file formats. Small files: for social media and web. High resolution files: for printing or large displays.
HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR HEADSHOT SESSION
Wondering what to wear for your headshot session? Here are some tips that can help!
-Be comfortable and familiar with what you’re wearing. You want to feel confident and like yourself. Clothes that you’ve loved for a long time are great choices!
-Sizing and fit are everything! Make sure blazers fit your shoulders and that neck lines hang well. Too much loose material bunches up and looks unprofessional. Button up shirts are a main culprit here.
-Solid colors are less distracting and help guide our attention to what matters most, you! Patterns can draw our attention away or make the image feel cluttered.
-Neutral, natural looking colors work best. These tend to compliment skin tones and offer some color without seeming out of place.
-Work with your eye color! Take a moment to hold up different colors in front of the mirror and find one that help them pop.
-Thicker fabrics work best. They look more profession and of higher quality. Thin fabrics can look cheap and sometime show clothes or body lines underneath.
-Wear layers! Blazers or structured jackets consistently look great. Layering helps add some style and give an outfit an intentional look.
-Bring options! We can try different outfits and find what works best together
