CREATIVE PORTRAITS
I’m a portrait photographer who loves to create moody, unique and personality filled images. I Common requests are for artist portraits, album covers, modeling portfolios or branding images. I love working with people to come up with unique concepts, the collaboration is what makes these projects come alive!
These are images that goes beyond the standard portrait. It’s a create way to some color and vibrancy to images, to express your creativity. I shoot on 35mm and medium format film as well a digital. For something truly unique, I offer double exposures on film. I primarily work in Portland but am available for travel.
The Collaboration Process
These projects tend to involve more pre-production. Here’s a brief overview of the process.
Send me an email and we’ll set up a call to talk through the details. Take a moment to write some things down so you can be prepared for the call. Do you have an overview of your vision? A feeling you want to capture? An environment that suits it best?
During our call we’ll talk through location options, props, colors and references.
To reserve the shoot I’ll need a 50% deposit. Pricing for these projects is variable, due to the nature of the shoots, so we’ll talk about budget on our first phone call. I accept most payment methods. If the weather prevents us from shooting we’ll reschedule, free of charge.
Send me a mood board! I’ll create my own for the shoot, but I would love to see examples what images you’re drawn to. This really helps me deliver images you’ll love.
On the day of the shoot we’ll dive right in - giving you the time and encouragement to feel good in front of the camera, try different outfits and explore different ideas.
I edit the full gallery, minus the bad ones! I edit creatively and you’ll get a chance to ask for any changes you might like.
You’ll receive all of the images through Google Drive in two file formats. Small files: for social media and web. High resolution files: for printing or large displays.
