Last month I did an event shoot in Pacific West Bank in Portland, Oregon. The TAO (Technology Association of Oregon) was throwing a kick off event for their Fintech community.

Event Photo Tips:

I shot with an on-camera flash, despite there being natural light. I used the flash in manual and just used it to fill in some of the shadows when I photographing close to someone. Unless you’re able to pose someone and have them facing a window, you’re getting shadows across their face. The flash helped me spread the light across the room and get nice, sharp and bright photographs.
